Work with other mothers on Community Service initiatives that benefit our communities here and abroad.
We are excited about supporting survivors of domestic abuse in our local community, We are collecting gift cards in $20 to $50 amounts, from gas stations, Target, Wal-Mart, Safeway, Giant, Shoppers, Food Lion, other department stores, movie theaters, fast food restaurants and auto repair. The gift cards will help women in transition from the shelter back to the community, to regain control of their lives. The empowerment, awareness, and advocacy of victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault is a very worthwhile cause. We are thankful to have an organization such as LAWS doing this much needed work.
LAWS provides free, confidential services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse while working toward the elimination of personal and societal violence.
