Mocha Moms, Inc. is a 501(C)3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
Mocha Moms, Inc. provides support for women of color as they journey through all phases of motherhood. while advocating for them, nationally. Our local Chapter, Mocha Moms of Loudoun County, has members experiencing all phases of motherhood, from post-partum to college acceptance, and everything in between/beyond. Let our sisterhood be a safe, guilt/judgement-free space where you can share your particular situation and get the support, understanding, and direction you need, and/or be a resource to another Mocha.
The Mocha Moms of Loudoun County hold bi-weekly support meetingss. Meetings take place on 2nd Tuesdays and 4th Mondays. Spontaneous and organic meetings do occur as needed to support our members as the need arises. Support meetings are Members Only. They take place in locations that are kid-friendly and consusive to including the children to facilitate member attendance.
Mocha Moms, Inc. does not discriminate against any person, regardless of demographic status. Anyone who supports the mission and purpose of Mocha Moms is welcome to join.
Mocha Moms of Loudoun County will begin efforts for our Fall Community Service Initiative - the Teen Winter Coat Collection Drive for LAWS on August 13th at 7pm during our Occupy Schools event at Gum Springs Library. We are collecting new and gently used coats for kids of all ages and sizes.. If you are headed out to the Occupy Schools Mocha event, simply bring your coat donation(s) with you! Get your neighbors involved! Collect one coat from every house on your street. Thank you so much for your support in supporting our community!
Participate in all local chapter events and activities, including mothers' support meeting with topics pertinent to your life, community service projects, moms' night outs, laughter, special events, social gatherings, and kids'/family activities.
Work in concert with mothers who understand your perspective as a mother of color, who share your experiences and who will both learn from you and teach you what they know.
Use and develop leadership and management skills by taking a leadership role in your chapter. Chapter leadership offers a wonderful opportunity to use and hone your talents.
Members receive invites to exclusive special events, screenings and activities
Access to Member's Only Section of Mocha Moms, Inc. website which includes news and information, access to newsletters, photos and communications from chapters around the country, and links.
Work with other mothers on Community Service initiatives that benefit our communities here and abroad.

The Book Club meets every 3rd Wednesday. Book selections include curent and classic titles and African-American authors. The Books Club seeks to touch of books that inspire, motivate and educate our members.
Travel Club hits Las Vegas this summer and New York City in the fall for a Holiday Shoppiing Spree! Plans are in the works for 2020 to include a spa retreat and our first international offering!
Wellness Club allows us to give our Mocha lifestyle a physical, mental/emotional. financial charge! With Wellness Wednesdays for open discussion, sharing, encouragement and accountability. Together, we take part in challengies, lifestyles changes, and 5K Walk/Runs.

Mocha MOtherhood come in various forms. We celebrate our SIngle Mocha Moms and hail them as heroines. Our Single Moms gather and strengthen and encourage one another.
